netscape error

ok i have two machines
one is win2k doing ICS with analogx
other is LINUX red hat 7
i have configured the linux machine to use the win2k machine as a proxy server
i was able to surf the net for about 5 min on the linux machine...
then netscape wouldnt open anymore web pages...an error comes up saying something about cache...i reboot... i cant get onto the net anymore...but i can still ping win2k machine...and vice versa...tried pinging web pages...can not ping outside web pages either...
help...

Sometimes netscape would crap out on me and I would have to delete the files:
(in the .netscape folder) lock, key3.db and something else, not sure exactly what, but the lock and or core dump deletion is what mainly fixes it up to be able to use again.
For me anyhow.

Try setting up the linux box as the proxy server?
