I downloaded yesterday and it would not install...
"move mouse to aid detection.."
does not detect my generic ps/2
tried to tell it manually.
Then it bails on the install
Removed the mouse and tried install minus mouse..same deal. I tought it mighr be a bad download. Downloaded again today...same deal..any suggestions?
Slack, RH, Mandrake and storm had no problems here...I am puzzeled
I've have problems getting it to install. I get to a point where is says it can't read a certain line. I'm guessing some line in the install script has gotten corrupted. Go figure.
 Slackware
:) Debian (I'll understand it if it kills me) :)
I downloaded the ISO's, burned to a cd, rebooted with the first cd in, ran setup, installed the base system then choose to use a diff. bootmanager (i have a tri-boot system) then created a bootdisk, the bootdisk didn't work so now I have to use the cd as a bootdisk to get into linux, i like it so far if i can just fix my dim screen and uninstall grub and install LILO. Bah.

If you want to try a great debian distro, give Libranet a try. Easy install, very stable, good package selection and GREAT tech support.
Just my $.02
