I have searched, but it appears my Google-Fu is not very strong lately. I also searched here and could not find what I was looking for. I love Ubuntu, the only thing I miss from KDE in SuSE is the ability to right click, go to actions and select "Open Terminal From Here". Is there any way to do this in Gnome?

Nautilus Scripts (http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/NautilusScriptsHowto)
Look about 3/4 of the way down for the "Open terminal here" script. The script will appear in your right-click menu.

I love ubuntu as well but it hates my modem and we don't have broadband here.

Glad I could help... and Cagliostro is my favorite as well... though the tv series 2nd season is pretty funny.
