I have a question about VNC. I have a XP machine with the VNC client and a linux box with the VNC server. I have port 5900 open on the linux box. When I log in I just get a blank screen. Any ideas?

Fedora's default settings for vncserver are for TWM. If you want to have a different windowmanager in your vnc session, uncomment the lines which say "unset SESSION_MANAGER" and "exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc." That will give you whatever the system-wide default windowmanager is (probably Gnome unless you chose something different).
