Hi

I have installed FC3 over RH9 and for some reason I cannot enable the Multi desktop options ( ie just by selecting the default), I cannot do this as the APPLY button is greyed out. If However, I have an application open, I can "move " it elsewhere, just cannot see until I bring it back in desktop1.

I'm using KDE 3.3 and the installation seems to have gone fine. Is there anyway to change this apart from in MULTIPLE DESKTOPS - CONTROL CENTRE?

Thx all!!

Try creating a new account with kde as the default desktop, and then see if you can configure the multiple desktops. I've had wierd luck with desktop settings during Redhat upgrades in the past - there may be some incompatible configuration files in your original home directory that need to be hosed out.
hope this helps,
