I just switched to Mandrake 10.1 yesterday on my laptop and everything went smooth. Internet connection worked fine with very little tweaking, including my wireless card. I turn it on today and no internet. I check ifconfig and both wired and wireless devices show up, only the wireless had an IP though as I wasn't plugged into the wall. Tried deleting both connections through the the Mandrake Control Center and starting from scratch. I took out the wireless card and decided to try the easy one first. The card was detected and configured without a problem, even got an IP address, but still no internet. I can ping my own address, 192.168.0.6, but nothing else, not even the router. Any ideas on where I went wrong?
