Well, I just installed Mandrake 8.0 on my system and it rocks. Except the sound doesn't work. I've read the NHF for sound blaster live!, which is what i have. Except that NHF was confusing and didn't explain most of the commands. So i'm asking aroudn here for some help on what to do to make my sound work. Thank you!

do a modprobe emu10k, make sure /dev/dsp has rw persmisions (see chmod) and play some MP3s.

Strange, harddrake should have picked up on that sound card. Got mine on install..
