i installed the jack audio software from jackit.sourceforge.com via emerge in gentoo, and when i run jack it stops my audio completely. i tried it using the alsa driver, and the oss driver and nothing works. if i use the dummy driver xmms can still play sounds, but otherwise it cant. so i'm guess that this is also why i dont hear anything when i'm running my program. i'm trying to get djplay working. anyone have any ideas?
