[SOLVED] Listening to winamp shoutcast streams

How can I do this on Linux? xmms open location doesn't work.

OK, I had to download the listen.pls file and then open it in xmms to play. This works fine.

Ok.

That is by far among the worst ways to solve that problem...no offence of course. I tried this method about a year and a half ago. The biggest problem is that it will only work on one stream. If you downloaded a Jazz stream, and you want to download a Classical stream, you need to delete the original and replace it with the new one

Association is the best way to go

Associate with XMMS the file extentions *.pls and *.PLS
