Is it possible/difficult? I really love the feel of apple's keyboards...

Have you tried it in windows? If it works in windows, there's a chance it'll work in linux. Just remember, usb support for linux is fairly new, so don't be surprised if it doesn't work.

I've never played around at all w/ usb hardware, though I have a couple ports. Just wondering if anyone has tried it..

Just the newer Mac keyboards are USB; those that are a couple of years old, and older are ADB (Apple Desktop Bus; last seen on the beige Mac's). ADB is a very similar plug to a PC's PS/2 plug. Beware, however, that the Mac's upper right-hand key is a power on/off key, and this may cause major problems for a PC.

I agree that if it'll work on a Windows PC, it should work for Intel/Linux. You may have better luck finding an answer at one of the Mac forums:

Hope that helps.

A new USB keyboard that came with my wife's new G4 works without any problem. An older keyboard (my beloved Apple Extended II) works with a Griffin imate adapter (ADB>USB) on my windoz but not in linux.
I run SuSE 8.0, KDE).
