adding a new module to kcontrol

I've recently downloaded a new ftpd program and it comes with an additional module that enables the user to config it through KDE's Control center.

I've been poking through the kde help file for a while now and nothing is pointing me to how the damn thing adds more modules.

Have you tried the docs/faq's etc. at www.kde.org (http://www.kde.org) ? Maybe they have something on the topic.
