I have a IBM 390e

Its has a celeron 300
96 MB rag
6 gig hd

The sound doenst work. I dont know if its software or hardware.
Itl come with 2k license like you will use it right LOL.

I will take 125 shipped. OBO I need to clean stuff out.

have you looked at laptos around the same price on ebay? you'd probably be better off just donating it to africa or something.

What's the battery condition on it? Does it have an AC adapter?

Yeah i wouldnt pay $1.00 for that laptop, besides maybe for the batterie or something. You can find wicked nice laptops and pcs really cheap at ibuypower.com and ebay. I dont think anyones going to spend that much for a computer that old, your asking WAY too much!

It does have the AC adapter but I do not know what kind of condition the battery is in.

I apoogize for causing such a stir with this laptop GEEZ. I didnt realize what the going price for a machine would be.
If I didnt already have two laptops I would keep it for my self. I didnt mean to offend anybody:rolleyes:

Sure, you can get it cheap on e-bay--with no power adaptor, a dead batter, no hard drive _or_ caddy, and a big dent in the side.

You can find good stuff on e-bay you just have to be careful, for example i bought the pc im using now off ebay. Got an awesome deal, way better than anything i could of gotten anywhere else. The pc worked awesome and iv been happy since. Once a power surge(had no power surge protector, DOH!) and my pc stopped working. I called up the guy i bought the pc from and told him what happened. He had me try a few things until he finally concluded that luckily he had installed a nice power supply and that saved the pc but the power supply was dead. I paid the $50 shipping and sent it back to him, he put in a new power supply and sent it back. Had the PC for a long time now and it still works great! Now i look back and thing wow i should of just installed a new power supply myself and saved about $40 but then again at that time i didnt know anything about computer hardware.

True. I've gotten some nice stuff from e-bay. It's just the laptop selection is a bit more pricy than I had thought it would be....

and just an idea:

Install DSL (http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/) on it, and sell the w2k license on e-bay. You could get 40$ er somthing from some sucker out there. (if its one of those that will only work on the hardware it was sold on, then forget my idea :p )

I got 100 for it and the guy came and picked it up.
