Simple website content managment system for a linux server.

I need a good, very simple, website conent manager that lets me edit files directly with no bloat. I have a couple people helping me with a site but so far we haven't got much done, due mainly to the pain of taking files off the server via ftp and reuploading them to my host. I need something server based to let me edit files on the server from a browser directly. I have 50 mysql, a ton of bandwidth, php, cgi, perl, etc.

Nope, i'm using paid hosting from site-master.org. Not as good as hosting it yourself but it works. I might see if I can get get the small business service, but that could be alot more. (and at least i'm still hosted on a linux server)
