As the subject states, is there anything I need to do to burn these in linux?

I've heard rumors that .NRG images are really just .iso's with the extension changed. I haven't tried it myself, though I do have Nero. I would try using cdrecord on it:

cdrecord speed=4 dev=<dev> -data foo.nrg

and then test the disk to see if it works. Again, though, keep in mind I haven't tried this myself.

I will give it a whirl. I just thought I would post the question and see if anyone had any prior experience...

I dunno if this'll help u any, but I do know that Nero can read ISOs (tho it doesn't mention anything at all about them) Try it and let us know. I think it would work. =)
