This is a longshot, but the reason I'm asking here is because I can't read Korean well enough to understand Korean Linux documentation.

I wanted to be able type in Korean on my computer for word processing, instant messaging, and email, so I installed "nabi," And it works for the most part. But I'm having some issues.

I'd really like to change the key combination used to switch to Korean characters. The default is shift-space, and I hit that ALL the time accidentally, which is annoying. Let me demonstrate: "hello, I 재우ㄷ갸루 랴 ㅛㅐㅕ ㅊ무 되ㅔ 드?" It's kind of comical actually, and I guess I should just learn to type more cleanly, but I'd rather just change it.

Does anyone know what the Windows key is used for on Linux? I was just thinking it would be great to use that, because that's approximately where the language switch key on Korean keyboards is.

Also, my other issue is in Gaim (and you might not understand this unless you have familiarity with Asian languages). When I'm typing a sentence, the individual Korean letters are autmoatically combined into syllables. So let's say I type something in a gaim message window. The very last character, which is still highlighted with the cursor will never be sent when I press return to send the message. I could just press space after typing my message to signal that the last syllable is "complete" but there ought to be a better way.

Again, this too is comical because it often makes my short phrases unintelligible or it turns my longer sentences into a more intimate, less polite form.

Anyone encountered this or found any better work arounds?
