Login problem

for some reason I cant log in to another account besides root. I've tried deleting the account and recreating it but it still doesnt work. I'll type the user name and password and the screen goes blank then comes back to the login screen. It lets me log on as root but that's it. What do i do? :confused:

try typing ctl-alt-f1 and logging from the text window.

there are a bunch of possibilities for what is happenning to you.

perhaps you have no disk space or something... a lot of things.

did it ever work? when did it stop?

it never worked....ill try to log in like that next time and let ya know
