SIR, RCMM, FIR and RC5/5 protocol

Hi folks,

I have been google-searching on following topics and could not disocver much information.

- SIR (serial infrared) protocol - the basic IRDA transmission with infrared.
- RCMM (RC Multimedia) infrared technology
- FIR/PIR
- RC5/6 infrared protocol developed by Phillips

Hoping that folks on the forum can shed me some light including forum on infrared technology
