i've set up an ftpserver(wu) and i can ftp into just fine from the machine using it's lan ip. i just can't ftp into it using any other machine on the lan. it's set up for anonymous guests, if that has anything to do with it.

you know, no one answered that for a long time. so i was looking all around for how to get around this and i was on my way to reconfigure/lose the firewall so i figured i'd check this out. good timing :D

you wouldn't happen to know how to let an anonymous user put a file up on the ftp server? this'll be on a closed lan with professional people using, so it'll be ok.
nevermind, i think i got it.

it will be in your configuration file. The only users who are denied outside of the configuration limits are the people listed in ftpusers. Just look at your configuration file and allow them access.
