How to build a rack server?

Can anyone recommend a guide on how to build a rack server?

buy low form-factor hardware (or really... small heatsink, unless you get a big rackmount-case. everything esle should fit, even in a 1U case.)

buy a rack-mount case (newegg.com has them)

buy a rack (or make one)

put it together.

install gentoo (or yout favorite distro)



google may turn up a detailed guide, but a rackmount server is pretty much a regular computer w/ a fun case.
