In Control Center, there is a section called Apperance and Themes...you install in there.

Might depend on what version of KDE you are on the exact way to do it.

I'm trying to install a theme here with KDE 3.3
I downloaded two themes from KDE-look.org, an RPM and a bz file, both installed OK.
How do I install them from the theme manager? It looks by default for "Theme files", but none of the themes from KDE-look.org seem to have a recognisable theme file. .ktheme and .themerc files, sure, but the theme manager doesn't recognise them.
I know you're supposed to be all independent when configuring your system, but what exactly is the point of making a theme manager that doesn't work with any themes?

It's just like the firefox "installer". Completely useless.

It seems as though only specific themes are compatible with the theme manager. Can you see any sign of the installed themes in Style or Window Decorations?
