:mad: hello ppl i am losing patience, what is my problem ok here we go i bet it is so easy for you you would say to youself this guy should not be touching linux at all , i agree.
i bought red hat linux 5.2 and i try to intall it , it wont it will go as far as the partitioning bit then it reboots again and again and again(my pc) so i am getting fed up so i am leaving it altogether unless you help me could it be my hard ware being not compatable it is afterall pentium ii with 188 mb of memory and 4.8 giga bite of hard disk memory which this days very small so please what could be wrong.i dont know what else to tell you about my pc it is a soya made motherboard .

Sorry, not too sure what your problem is, but RH5.2 is very old. Maybe try a newer version/distro. RH is upto 7.2 now

I've got a boxed version of RH7.1 with all 7 CD's/Installation manual/Getting Started manual and boot disk if you want it?

If the distro and version is older than the hardware, then you can be sure to have problems getting it installed.

Your hardware should be able to support most if not all of the newer distro versions.
