Incidently, back when I ran the Intel early access lab, we did have a windows firewall with linux systems behind it. Sometimes you have to live with a network designed by an MCSE. It cost a fortune to set it up, (this happened before I got there). Even though I have an MCSE my first choice for firewalls is linux/unix followed by cisco.

i think i got one of those 3coms in my trunk. i usually donate my old/notused/dumpedonme stuff to my school. i got a free nortel 24port switch and a cisco router with a framesaver for free last year and donated it.

If there are any left, I want one 100 Mbit rack mount hub. As I said earlier, I need 4 or more ports. Since these wouldn't fit in my laptop bag I will have to find a second one elsewhere. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. We had multiple fires to deal with on the servers, (mostly windows issues).
