although i really want to get this printer to work in slackware 10, I at least can do it in mandrake 9.1 easly...
All you have to do is install mandrake 9.1 like normal and once it gets to the "summary" screen click on printer and choose expert.
Then just choose "add printer" and choose the "lexmark lz11 + ghostscript" driver and install, print test page and everything will work.
(by the way i am doing this all from memory so some of the names and stuff might be wrong)
So really I know nothing, it's just mandrake know's how to do it... if anyone with a lexmark z11 EVER figures out how to install the printer without this mandrake cheat please tell me. and i mean EVER, even if its in a million years i would still be thrilled to know.
