Thanks! sarah31 11-07-2001, 01:34 AM Unfortunately I do not have Linux currently running to give you a better idea, but you should have some sort of option/program that will list the architecture of your system somtimes it can be done through that in other distros it may be done through a settings/desktop environment program. Which Linux are you running and we might be able to help you out more? In konsole, go to Settings --> Schema --> And then choose a theme (themes are called Schemas ;)) Read the file /usr/share/apps/konsole/README.Schema for information on creating your own Schemas (Schema files are saved in /usr/share/apps/konsole/*.schema). Only works if you don't have a too funky wallpaper that will interfere with seeing your text. z0mbix 11-08-2001, 05:28 PM Konsole takes about 5 times longer to appear than an xterm/eterm. Why run a bloated program like that when you can run an speedy eterm/xterm? bdg1983 11-08-2001, 07:42 PM Konsole on my pc takes less than a second to load. Not fast enough? Ludootje 11-11-2001, 03:50 PM and even if it's not as fast as other terminals, you have to run it just once, though you have to run tons of xterms etc, which is completely useless justlinux.com
