I'm not understanding all of this. I want to create a basic printer share for other people on my network.
The world of printing in linux seems very complex, and I'm not sure where to start. Its funny how the windows system still has to install correct drivers to print to the shared printer. Givin this, can samba just send a direct line of code or whatever to the printer, and I don't have to mess with filters, or what?
