I sure would like to find a forum such as JL, with lot's of activity and competent posters, for windows server questions and SharePoint Portal Server 2003 questions.
Anybody have some links? I know of a couple of forums, but only 1 in 10 questions gets answered and then only briefly.

You better be sorry buddy! Posting for Windows help in a Linux forum!! :p
The only one I can think of off hand is windrivers, but I haven't checked them out in years so I don't know how well things are there anymore (use to be very good for Windows stuff)

Why don't you just call up MicroSoft, isn't that supposed to be one of the big benefits to propretary software, having someone to call? ;)

Looked at windrivers. Not a lot of avtivity there either, in the forums I would be concerned with.
Hey... They have a Linux forum under their Operating Systems forum.
What I want to do is put W2K3, SQL 2000, and SPS 2003 log files on a separate partition, but I haven't yet found the info I need. I don't know how to redirect W2K3 log files or SPS logfiles to a new location. SQL lets you define the log files location during setup.
Anyway, I'm just going to go ahead and put SQL and SPS on a separate partion from W2K3 and they can handle their own log files on their given partitions. Of course, all the SQL data and SPS data will be on another, separate 200GB partition.
Hey... Windows... It pays the bills!! :p
But it sures does cut into my linux luvin' time. ;)

At least, that's what all the sheeple that don't read their proprietary software license agreements think...
Anyway, have you looked at SysOpt's forums? (www.sysopt.com) If it's anything like I remember it 3-4 years ago, you might have some luck there. Of course, it may not be anything like that anymore either...
