This x enviroment "icewm" has a feaure of a line-command executer for loading up any program u want.

My question is what keyboard alternative do i have to clicking on the commander; I mean like a shortcut to have the cursor on type to the icewm commander

if u have doubts just ask

... and it's been 420 days since my last post. All those things I asked, I know now... long journey, still mandrake user. Maybe I'll test suse...

From the IceWM FAQ, may or may not help.

Thanks, the page is very useful, and I've learnt some tricks.

I still don't find what I want, though...

Not being an IceWM user I can only point you to documentation that I find, sorry I can't help much. :(

This thread over at the Gentoo forums might help. Wish I could do more. Sorry.

Why not have a terminal come up on say virtual desk 2 upon login, then you can use the keybind attributes of IceWM to toggle back and forth as you need to.
