Sound Configuration

I just installed linux Manrake 8.0 yesterday. The system is running fine and the dual boot is also running fine. The only problem I am having is with the sound. Linux knows what sound card I ahve but I am getting no sound. Does anybody have any idea how to configure the sound?

SoundBlaster Live X-gamer
Cambridge Sound Works FPS1000
Logitech Optical Mouse
Yamaha 16x/10x/40 CD-RW
12x DVD

Try running this as root:


modprobe emu10k1


Else, get (http://opensource.creative.com/) and install the drivers. Also there's an Sb Live! NHF on this very site...
