Using the latest release of Firefox and Adblock fully enabled, I can go to http://extremetech.com homepage with no problems.
However when finding myself on this page HERE (http://eletters.extremetech.com/zd1/cts?d=80-183-2-2-93345-20179-1) , a link from an email, I can click the "Home" tab on the page menu, upper-left and it will go to the homepage and crash about half-way through the load. Just my install or is this a shared experience. :D

in both the mozilla.org and gentoo portage versions i've had firefox crash a lot on some sites thick with ads. i guess adblock just goes insane, i don't really know since the app just quits and I know enough not to visit that page again.
Have you had any problems with the gxine/xine pulgin crashing firefox? on both versions I've used it will crash randomly or go haywire and max my cpu out...

Not that I've noticed. Have you seen this on your ftp server
"2004-09-18 17:08 ./slackware/xap/xine-lib-1rc6a-i686-1.tgz" Notice the date? There might be other associated updates......just have a look. According to my logs it would seem its updated about once a month on Slackware ftp.

I have noticed that xine-lib gets updated a lot and always do the updates.
