I need to setup a reliable, secure Linux web server. I need to make a decision which distro to use. My canditate is RedHat 7.1. Any suggestions?

All the distros are capable of doing it.

I guess one of the major factors is your familiarity with linux. If you are new to it, then probably mandrake or redhat will provide a more newbie-friendly installation and a smoother tranisition from windoze.

good point, so you may consider one of the "server" distro's ie Caldera eServer (http://www.caldera.com/products/eserver/)
or esmith server (http://www.e-smith.org)
