Does any one know of a howto to transfer a floppy distro to a hard drive?

Personally I don't think it'd be worth the trouble...what's the situation you have a need to do that?

freesco has a built-in command/method to do it installation to a hard drive (http://www.freesco.org/freesco/p2.shtml)

maybe you could reverse engineer thier process
