What should I do with this computer...

I have a 486DX66 with 8MB of RAM and a 520 MB HDD. Should I be able to install Slack right off the CD? And what, if any WM would be good on it?

slack will install (you'll most likely need a boot floppy - the instructions will be on the cd), X will run slow (a beefy vid card will help). I was able to run X with Afterstep on a 486dx4 100mhz with 20MB RAM and a 2MB Video card and it was a little slow. Yours will be slower. :) If you use something small like blackbox, windowmaker (I don't use the smaller ones, search the message board for those), it should work. Hope that helps.
