news groups

I have a wireless isp, and they dont have news group access, I was wondering, would it be possable to setup my own newsgroup server so that I would have access to the news groups, and if so what would be a good place to start reading up on it?

Well, to run your own newsgroup server you need to use innd (INN).For more information see www.isc.org (http://www.isc.org) .One thing that i may add is be prepared for good reading and take your time if you decide to configure the beast :D.
