i know this or something similar has probably been asked many, many times before. I am looking into ripping and storing a good few of my CD's into MP3's to serve at some point as some sort of jukebox as needed.

Is there an almost-automated way of ripping and encoding entire CD's, ASWELL AS getting at least the artist, track name and possibly album name at the same time??

I would prefer a command line method -- I have things such as cdda2wav and sox compiled. If anyone knows of a decent front-end that would (could) be fantastic.

So is there a good way of getting the CD info into the MP3's? I dont want to type song titles for hundreds of MP3's :)

Cheers in advance

Grip? Have you tried that? I don't know what disro you are using but I think it's something you should check out. Some of the disros like RedHat, Mandrake and SuSe comes with Grip.
