If it's the router you need help with, Linksys has the setup manuals :)

Unless you are using the wireless on it all you need to do is plugin with an ethernet cable like any LAN connection

Do you have a specific wireless card you are trying to use with this router?

yes I am trying to setup my connection with a linksys wireless-g 2.4GHz notebook adapter(802.11g) but I can't seem to get RH to recognize that it is even there.I am an extremely new user and could be missing something but will check out linksys site for those manuals. thnx

There are very few 802.11g cards that work under Linux currently, the only one I know that 'mostly' works is the Intel Pro/Wireless2200 as Intel has taken action to make their wireless card work under Linux.

Your best bet is to use the NDIS Wrapper (http://ndiswrapper.sf.net) which can use the Windows drivers (.ini and .sys files) under Linux.
