I am upgrading mySQL on my system from 3.23.58 to 4.1.4-0. I built the rpms from the src rpm found on the mysql site. I have a bunch of rpms and ?I am not sure which rpm to instal 1st, 2nd ......... anyway when i try to upgrade mysql i get a failed dependency problem . The problem is :

[root@Hockeyfan athlon]# rpm -Uvh MySQL-server-4.1.4-0.glibc23.athlon.rpm
error: Failed Dependencies:
libmysqlclient.so.10 is needed by (installed) perl-DBD-MySQL-2.9002-1

My OS is Fedora Core 1

Can anyone tell me how to get past this?

Thanks

This (http://www.experts-exchange.com/Databases/Mysql/Q_20919327.html) result (from google) seems to be similar. Check out the link the author posts at the bottom of the page. That looks promising ;)
