Duh 03-06-2001, 09:30 AM running at 133 of course. or will the ram just fry? ph34r 03-06-2001, 10:25 AM Depends on how good your ram is - you will be seriously "overclocking" it. You may be better off selling the PC100 and geting all PC133. bugfix 03-06-2001, 10:27 AM You can do it but you'll be susceptiable to random crashes, locking ups and all manner of unpredictable events. However, you could underclock the bus so it runs at 100Mhz but obviously this has repurcusions on overral speed. If your m/b allows it you could compromise and choose a clock speed in between, at 112MHz for example, thus overclocking the RAM a little and underclocking the bus a little. A bit of a compromise and you shouldn't experience many (any?) crashes. How much RAM have you got at the moment and how much of 100MHz RAM do you have? If you only have a small amount of slow stuff I wouldn't bother. Blackknight 03-06-2001, 12:03 PM Yes, you can mix them. The BIOS will default to the slower speed though. justlinux.com
