Is there a way to choose kernel 2.6.7 from /testing on the second cd as the kernel during the installation of Slackware10? All I have been able to find is info on compiling after the install is complete.

So, precompile the kernel, then run the install? Could I burn everything from the compiled kernel on to a cd the refer to that during installation? M/B someone else will answer, that has done the ritual. It is in Slack package format...tgz??? Daedrus 09-01-2004, 01:08 PM in Testing it is in tgz format but I can't see it as an option during installation to install this package. Downloading the source from kernel.org would be fine, but it would definitely be easier if I can just use the Slackware package.
