Well I am really newbie on linux but I just installed Fedora Core 2
I managed to run into a problem
my NEC ND1300A don't seem to be working
its working allright acording to BIOS so it must be something about fedora ?
Would really appreciate if someone could help me out on this litle problem :)
Thanx

With a bit of luck, it's a simple solution:
It could be a confusion between ide/scsi-drives & labeling.
What kernelversion do you have 2.4 or 2.6?
Check the file /etc/fstab, and check where your DVD is located. Better might be to post output of:
# cat /etc/fstab
# ls -l /dev/dvd
Do you know where your DVD is? If on secondary master, do
# ls -l /dev/hdc
To get the output to a file you can use '>' like this:
# cat /etc/fstab > /myfstab
will not show you anything on the screen, but you will have a textfile /myfstab.

What do you mean by "don't seem to be working"?
