I hava a Zaurus SL-5500 that connects perfectly to my Fedora Core 1 OS, but I am looking into changing over to SUSE Pro 9.1, has anyone been able to make them connect?? I am using the Qtopia 1.6Beta version of the connectivity software. I want to make the switch, but want to be sure all will be ok.

How did you install the software on FDC1? Was it from source or a RPM? If its from source, you shouldn't have any problems setting it up in SuSE, if it was a RPM, you might have to find a SuSE RPM or find the source. I havent used it so I don't know if it will work, but you could always create a small / partition and install SuSE on it to test it out before doing a complete swap.
Have a look through this google.com/linux search

This one seems to be dealing with SuSe 8.0, I'm not sure how helpful it is I havent had a good look through it

Qtopia was installed as an RPM, and I found an RPM for SUSE as well. The install of the Qtopia software is not the problem, it's the configuration of the usbO device itself that I need help with.

In that case you should be able to use YAST to configure the device.
