upgrade - winex3.3-1 to cedega 4.0-1

hey, i was wondering how i should upgrade my winex3.3-1 to cedega 4.0-1, i downloaded the tgz cedega file, i extracted it, and i have no clue what to do with it, i look at the install, and it says all i gotta do is extract it, and it didnt do anything, im running gentoo

i extracted the file, went into the folder it made (usr) then bin, then did this

uhh, yea, just realised i should of put it in /usr/portage/destfiles or w/e

i went to install it, butttt, it says its conflicting with the winex3 install, how do i uninstall winex3? x_x

emerge -v cedega

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
