Needs Advice: Slack 10 on AcerNote Light

I am trying to install Slack 10 on an old Acer NoteLight. So far, I could get up to the boot prompt where I can begin the install.

The problem lies with the hard disk. I cannot partition it using fdisk nor cfdisk. Here's the error message i saw in dmesg:
