Is there such a thing for linux? I have mandrake 7.2 currently. Isn't Java properly supported in most current distros?

Isn't Java properly supported in most current distros? njcajun 03-05-2001, 01:59 PM sun.com, blackdown.org and ibm should all have current java stuff for Linux. I've installed the Java hotspot engine on 3 different OS's now, no problems there. There's a whole book on Java for Linux, called, surprisingly, Java Programming for Linux. I believe it's a SAMS book - but it's pretty good, assuming you can already program in Java to some degree. Good Luck justlinux.com
