Can someone please help me out with this one: I want to access my old Amiga hard-drive from within RedHat 7.1 - I've tried recompiling the Kernel with AFFS support, but when I get to the File System section of the config menu, AFFS support is greyed out. Anyone got any idea why ?

Cheers for any help...

the problem is that the driver for that is still experimental. You need to ask the config script to prompt you for experimental drivers. This is how you do it

make xconfig
Open up "Code Maturity Level" menu item
Turn on the "Prompt for development . . ." thing (should be the only thing in there)
Now of into the "File Systems" menu, Amiga AFFS should be there now. Turn it on
Send me $50 (this is optional) :D

That should do it

Keep on rockin' in the free world,

No No... We're not allowed to accept tips. Our LNO salaries are more than enough.
