I have read, and read, and cannot puzzle this out.
Here's the scenario: Week 1 I do a full backup to 4 R/W CD's. This works great, I had to come back from bare metal once, I got a perfect restore.
Week 2, I do a differential, to a fresh R/W CD.
Week 3 I do another differential to the same CD.
Questions:
If I have to bare metal restore, I can do that from the original 4 CD's. THEN, how do I make him "see" the differential CD?
I cannot tell what he has done on the CD, do I have TWO differentials, or has he erased the first? If so, does the 1 remaining differential contain all of the 2 weeks differential backups? What about week 4?
