Just recently upgraded to Santa Cruz card from an onboard SoundMax 4. Ive used my microphone fine with voice programs such as Teamspeak or Ventrilo with the old setup, but with the Santa Cruz ive encountered a pretty weird problem.
Whenever any sound plays on the computer, regardless of whether its reaching the mic or not, registers as being picked up by the mic. e.g. if i were to turn off my speakers, but activate my mic, the receiving side would be able to hear it but i wouldnt be actually sending anything through the mic. Anyone encountered this kind of problem before?
