where do i go to config my mouse so the scroll will work?

also is that the same place i would config my other buttons? (MS OpticalMouse)

1. Try the NHFs. there's an excellent piece by deadman on getting the scroll to work.

2. use "mouseconfig" to set your mouse type properly. If you have MS ps2 optical mouse then set the protocol to "imps2".

3. Open /etc/X11/XF86Config in your editor and uncommetn and set Zaxis mapping to 4,5 or 6,7 depending on the number of butotns you have.

4. This will give you rudimentary mouse wheel functionality with xterm etc. You still have to configure netscape, emacs seperately to grab the wheel. :D

5. I still have not been able to get all my buttons working, so in case you get the dope on that post it here.

6. Some of the above stuff may not work if you are on a distro other than RedHat

I noticed that there is no NHF for setting up a scroll wheel in netscape, anyone have links to howto's on this subject?
