Hi all - Does anyone know how to deal with this message?
I believe it's something to do with Linux not recognizing my video adapters, which is probably why I had to install Red Hat 7 in text mode as opposed to the fancy GUI mode at school. I completed the install and it runs fine in text mode, but if I type "startx" it looks like it's starting then I get the message above.
I was browsing the CD and found a file called drivers.img, could that be of any use and if so how?
My system is a PIII 733, 128 M/133 RAM, Aopen MX3S MOBO with onboard sound and video(Intel 82815 used for my secondary monitor), SiS 6326 video(for my primary monitor), AOpen winmodem, generic 48x CD.
I'm brand new (4 days at school) to Linux and I tried using the search but it just sits there frozen. So please don't scream at me if there is an answer to this somewhere. :D
I don't know the response time around here, but if I miss a response I will be back online this evening, gotta go to school and learn about Linux. :)
