Damn Small Linux installation?

I am going to install Damn Small Linux into my HD.This site explains how to do it http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/dsl-hd-install.html
but first step it says it do an fdisk or cfdisk.So from where should I do that cfdisk? Because without booting into Linux, how can I open that cfdisk.exe application?

use a CD to boot into a linux system first, before you even install.

Actually, just use any partitioning program to do it.

BTW, it seems that its very easy to do it :D (you can use the given CD to do it, just restart after partitioning.)
