I have Mandrake 9.2 and the default KDE is version 3.1.3-I would like to update it to KDE 3.2 as in SUSe. (I have the SUSe 9.1 install disk that has it on it)-how do I upgrade?

I tried installing SUSe 9.1 Personal on my computer and it doesn't detect the DSL modem I have and therefore it won't let me connect to the internet. -That is why I am using Mandrake.

If anyone knows how to get SUSe to automatically install my network please drop a line. (SUSe auto detects the ethernet card I have, but not the connection).

Thank You in advance.

you cannot do it -- packages in SuSE and Mandrake are different.

BTW, if you want to upgrade, why not do it with mandrake's own package management system?
